What is P90X Live and how does it differs from the P90X 90 day home program?
In the P90X 90 day home program, each workout targets a different muscle group. Therefore, even though you workout every day, the routines are not as long, and they vary. Each P90X Live! class has four components: cardiovascular, lower strengthening, upper strengthening, and core. The classes are an hour long and you get a total body workout every time. When you are strength training it is important to give your muscles proper rest between workouts, and doing P90X Live! every day would quickly lead to overuse injuries. Both the home program and the Live! classes use the concept of muscle confusion to keep your body guessing. Although each class consists of the same components (cardio, lower strength, upper strength, and core), the exercises vary from class to class and we rarely do the same workout twice.

Before I began teaching P90X Live! classes I lifted weights four times per week and did a half hour of cardio five times per week. Since last October I have not stepped foot in the gym, and today I am stronger than I have ever been in the past. P90X Live! has helped me take my fitness to the next level. However, it is important to note that P90X can be adapted for your current fitness level. You are in charge of the intensity of your workout by controlling the speed that each exercise is performed, modifications, and the amount of weight that you use. We focus on proper form, breathing, and progressing your routine.
